Goodbye 2016!

Thank you all for riding along with me on the Spaced Out wagon this year! I think 2016 will go down as the most challenging year I have faced both on a personal level and creative level. However, it also stands as one of the most rewarding years for me as well. It has truly been a roller coaster ride but I find myself very lucky to have accomplished the things I did this year. I am also very happy with ending the year with 10 new characters fully realized in plastic form. This will indeed go down as my most productive and creative year I think.

Looking into 2017 I want to continue pushing the boundaries of toy making and implement more fun and exciting stories with the newly founded digital drawing world I have been traversing. Above is a quick sketch of the characters that made their plastic debuts this year and next year I would like to keep expanding their respective stories going forward.

Once again, thank you for your continued support and lets make 2017 a fun one!

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays everyone! I am hoping you are enjoying time with family and friends this holiday season. A huge thank you to everyone who supported and checked out Spaced Out Design this year! It has been a fun jam-packed year full of new toys and new stories!

With 2017 right around the corner, I plan to continue making new toys as well as bringing older characters back with new flavors. On tap I already have two new figures that made it through the prototyping stage and will be debuting early this coming year. It is going to be something different that I am hoping people will like and check out.

Once again thank you so much for all your support and I hope you all enjoy some holiday cheer! See you next year!

Prismirian Knight

As Prismiria starts to open up more to us, I am starting to introduce all new characters that have been in development for a few years in ABS form. One of my favorite Prismirian designs was originally titled "The Rhino" Prismirian. I ended up with the "Prismirian Knights" as I envisioned these guys being the elite guards to Geodraxus. I imagine the Knights were these stalwart subjects that were also vital protectors of Prismira. Geo knew since the fall of his brother to Acris that the planet needed more support. There was already too many potential threats in the System that put the entire Prismirian race at risk. New Prismirans were trained and the Prismic Defense was starting to form in a strong way. For now, Prismiria would be safe...
