THANK YOU !
Wow! I simply can't thank you guys enough for coming out the other night for the Mecha Treeborg release!
Seeing the Treeborgs evolve into a more mechanized form was truly something I wanted to make back when I was developing the characters in 2012. I imagined them a little more menacing and scaled up a bit from their resin predecessor. It has been incredibly fun painting and grubbing these figures up to showcase their true states. Thanks again for all your support, without it, I would not be where I am today!
Special thanks to my three brothers Marcus,Matt, and Jesse for all having their DNA in most of these endeavors. Marcus continues to be my rock when it comes to making the site what it is. Without him, the site would not run and look as good as it does. He really puts his best intentions into it and does not cut corners when it comes to making it the absolute best it can be. I can never thank you enough!
Big thanks to the bearded printing wizard for letting me play around in the shop to print some stickers for the packaging. Jesse has been the busiest I have ever seen him running his printing empire and making his dreams come true. Congrats on busting rump and still helping goofs in your spare time!
And last but certainly not least, Matt. He continues to have the best advice and still inspires me in ways I have never been inspired before. We are constantly on the phone discussing so many things but he always takes the time out and really gets critical when it comes to design and function of my toy line which is something I am always thankful for. Thanks again for all that you do big man!
The bulk of the orders have been packed and are ready to see the post this afternoon. Most of you should of got shipping notices yesterday.
Keep your eyes open for more Mecha Treeborg items in the future along with some new figures as well!

Cranking Away
Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of Spaced Out content and or updates, been chipping away at the latest assortment of figures at the shop. Still trying to find a good balance between it all, but rest assured that new product and content is coming to those of you that are looking to explore a new section of the universe! Its been a very interesting transition from casting in urethane and mold making to manufacturing 3D printed figures. Let me say that in the many years I spent making molds and casting, 3D printing takes the cake on the labor load! Hah! I find it is more labor intensive post printed parts, but the end results are very satisfying and rewarding. Just to give a ballpark idea of the time it takes to make a Spaced Out toy; every figure can take up to 12-15 hours just to make one complete. This includes printing time, clean-up and scraping each surface, prepping for acetone, vapor bathing, tooling and assembling. This does not include things like: overnight cure for acetone vapor bathing and or painting/customizing. Needless to say, it takes awhile and your hands are into these guys a lot!
Above are some shots from the shop in the clean-up stage. Back to work!

Mechanical Master
More stuff will be surfacing soon on Geo, but I wanted to share a few shop photos to show some of the processes that actually go into making a figure. When I cobbled my first Geodraxus together, I was so unbelievably happy that I had made a figure from top to bottom. I still remember the phone conversations with Matt and Jesse, I was practically in tears! This had become a moment I would not forget. I had been working on him non stop for months and really wanted something to bring to NYCC that year (2013). I did what I could to make him presentable, but I knew he needed a lot of work to get him where I wanted him to be. Flash forward to now.
Ron has taken Geodraxus from his past state, to a more mechanically sound one. I wanted a figure that could do more than the previous version, and Ron has been helping me do just that. We have been going back and forth on getting things "on point" and talking about the future of this figure. Its really awesome to watch him work out in the shop! The pictures display Ron getting parts all lined up and mechanically fit. He has a very accurate way of getting those "sweet spots". I couldn't have made it here without the help of my friends Ron and Matt. You guys are the best!
Most will notice a good deal of changes to Geodraxus. Elements of the sculpt have been pushed and pulled, and new line work and design changes have been implemented. This time, he will be debuting with a darker foe.
I really can't wait to get the molding done and hold a new version of an old friend !

Cast, Paint, Repeat... Sleep??
Its been a super busy couple of months! I have been amping up some things for this launch that is (hopefully) emerging later this month! There has been a few add-ons along the way , that I hope will enhance this project. Its been super fun ( and painfully tiring ) getting all this made!
Also, there may be some killer art smatterings to go along with this launch by a very handsome bearded man! Can't wait!
So here are a few WIP shots and some casts that I have been working on the past few days. More stuff soon!

Moore Shop Pics
With Jesse's latest launch coming to a close, all I can say is WOW! This man has put his heart and soul into all of his projects, but this one was a bit more. Its been a bunch of late nights at the shop with him and I and also at the homestead. These took a little longer than anticipated but I personally think its worth the wait. I know I cant wait to put mine in my collection! There was a lot more added process with this assortment and I can say that I really dig the direction Jesse is taking his stuff. With every launch, he pushes his shit to the next level. Its incredible coming into this just a few years ago and seeing these advances in the toys themselves. Congrats bud! In other news, with all this pretty much done on my end, I will be returning to my swaz that I have going. Still need to get some more supplies but hopefully Ill be moving into the studio soon so I can get working on my sculpts and casting. Ventros is going to undergo some changes. I really cant wait to tell the whole story and have these guys finally be at the point where I am comfortable releasing them. Ill be posting more pics of him soon!

Wraiths, and Hexxers, and Beards, Oh my!
Its been a busy past few weeks for the bearded fella and I . Between getting my latest project underway and helping out Jesse, Ive been able to stay out of trouble. I am super stoked about his latest assortment of figures and vinyl. He has really brought his art to the next level and uses pvc and vinyl as his canvas. I cant convey how awesome the colors on these bad boys look. The pictures really do not do them enough justice. Ill keep on hammering away at what is left. There is a ton of work Jesse has incorporated in these beyond the figures themselves. I think everyone will be pleased once they are done. I know I cant wait to see the finished products! Now, Back to work!

Setting Up Shop
Been helping Jesse with his latest launch over at the screen print shop the past few weeks and stuff is going good. Above the screen print shop lies a new studio that now belongs to us... I mainly will be setting some tables and get this casting swaz under way and basically move all my stuff there.Need to still get a pressure pot and a air compressor. Jesse and I have some ideas for some sweet projects. Some are glyos related and some aren't... But we will take small steps towards those because there is a lot of work still to be done in other areas. Keep checking back and see what the latest is. Here is the space and a sign I made.
